Things on my mind:

  • Every week here is like my hardest week in community college.
  • It was so good to spend last night with Dani and Christina, exactly 2 years after another really fun night we had. In retrospect, 11.11.04 is one of my favorite memories with these two!
  • It is exciting to see so many babies being born/approaching the time they will be born… but I do not want one for a while.
  • I want to do a short study abroad program this coming Summer, but am also interested in doing another Summer missions trip.
  • I wish I could go to school part time. My parents would actually be okay with this, and I was planning on dropping down to 10 units this coming quarter, but then I realized that my school would not allow it. But I am still looking into it.
  • I have decided that my goal for UCLA is definitely not to finish in 4 years… my goals are to do well, to go slow enough to drink this experience in (instead of rushing to finish this phase of my life), and to graduate as close to debt free as I can.
  • It was nice to come home this weekend. Despite some minor disagreements, this was a really enjoyable weekend.
  • The Holidays are coming up soon!
  • I am trying to be more on top of my work-load this week.
  • Here’s to a (hopefully) lower stress week!

I want me a boyyy… (someday, not now)

Did I seriously go through the effort of signing onto my website and creating a post just to say that? Yes, it seems that I did.

I was going to delete this website, but I forgot to cancel my webhosting service, so I was just charged for another three months. Maybe I will be inspired! Or… maybe I will not!

Let’s see. School is hard, and there have been a few days when I seriously questioned my choosing this school, but on the whole, I like it here. I am learning a lot and reading a lot, that is for sure.

I have gone to Disneyland six times since the last week of August. I look forward to my next trip.

It is hard to balance my time when I am close enough to Long Beach that it is not ridiculous to consider doing things there on a regular basis. Meanwhile, most people here in Los Angeles do not have that luxury and do fun things on weekends… I obviously want to be a part of this too. Basically… since I have a new fun job instead of the annoying coffee job that I took on, my biggest frustration is now just figuring out how to spread out my time. There is so much to do and I do not want to miss anything. One of the hardest things that I have to remind myself of every week is that I cannot do everything and that this is okay… hopefully I will simply accept this one of these days.

I love living in an apartment. I love my roomate:

Party hardy.

She is a joy! My other two roommates are delightful as well, and I love the new home we have created. I just do not have any other pictures of them to post that have not already been plastered onto Facebook and Myspace. Really though, we have fun!

The end!
