So. Things have been redesigned, to some extent!
What has been done:
- I have made the switch from Movabletype to WordPress. So far, I am very pleased.
- I was successfully able to import my old MT archives, as well as my old livejournal archives.
- I have done a little dance of celebration, because it looks like I really will be able to have most of my blog entries from a few years back all in one place.
What still needs to be done:
- A proper layout!
- Though I was able to import both the entries and comments from MT and LJ, the comments do not want to show. For the LJ entries (most of the ones from Feb ’04-Nov’05), if you click on the “no comments” link, you will see that many of the entries do, in fact have comments on them. For the MT entries… sit tight.
- Some Proper content.
- I am looking at plug-ins that will have this thing running even more smoothly.
If you choose to browse the LJ archives…
- These are entries from my old livejournal. Please be respectful and realize that at the time these were written, many of the entries I felt were personal enough to make “friends only.” I have decided that I want to have all of these on this website because they do represent a part of my life. I am aware that I sound dumb in many of these, but please realize that I have changed a lot since the time that these entries were created. Any of the things that I was upset about are forgiven. Hopefully I am forgiven for the things I said! It is very risky of me to post these things right now, I have not read over all of them in a while. So really, please be respectful.
