Not so much time has passed since I opened up this website in the current format… I mean, it has been a few months, but this is only the 23rd entry.
The website is not really completed. I had originally tried to create content that is interesting to visitors, but I think I am going to be changing the format of this site. It will definitely still have a blog, but the blog will not necessarily be the main content of the website. I want it to be a bit more of a collective, a portfolio where I can display many of the things that I have done. I would like to get all of the pictures I have taken throughout the years (maybe not the embarassing ones… or maybe they will be here, not sure) online. I’d like to have all of the different graphics (however crappy) I have created throughout the years onto this website. I’d like to put up some of my essays (they’re mostly analytical… on stories and stuff, nothing you’d probably want to read), and possibly mess around with some more creative writing. I am incredibly critical of my writing and due to my constant procrastination, I am not normally very pleased… nonetheless, they are things that I have created, and things that I want to have online. I want a place where I can quote various things that I have liked. A place to write my thoughts on books, movies, music, etc… not really a place for me to review them and tell you whether or not you should read the same books, watch the same movies, or listen to the same music, but simply a place for me to reflect on those things.
I am kind of hesitant on some things. In a sense, I would like to include all of the blog entries that I have written from my first ventures into web design, but a)many of them have been lost, b)many are very embarassing to look back on, and c)many have to do with past relationships… I do not know if it would be appropriate to really have my whole life like this online. But I am willing to experiment with things.
I want to get off of movable type. I gave it a fair try and am not very impressed. I want to become more user friendly. I want to put real effort into this.
