If something smells like coffee, yes, it is me.

Ahhh… for the past two nights I have gone to bed after 1am and woken up at 4am (tuesday) or 5:30am (today).

Surprisingly, I am not all that tired. I have had only one cup of coffee this whole week (and seeing how I work around it, it is pretty easy to get ahold of), and it was not a fancy one, it was a 77 cent one (employee discount!), and I did not even get to enjoy most of the coffee! Somehow, on the drive between It’s a Grind and Long Beach City College, my cup ended up on the floor of my car… I honestly do not know how it happened, but suddenly my feet were a lot warmer. I probably drank 10 cents worth, got 17 cents worth on my pants and shoes, and the other 50 cents… are perfuming my car with the smell of cinnamon and almond (so the drink was a little fancy… but still, 77 cents?!? I can do a lot worse!). Though I live pretty close to school, parking takes about a million years, and I only had half a million before I needed to be in class for an exam (it went well, so you know), so I had to soggily go to class anyway.

It kind of reminded me of this time I got gasoline all over my pants while trying to refuel my car and decided to go shopping anyway, except that this time I smelled like I had been doing something legal.

The moral of the story: if you are putting something into your cup holder, make sure it is actually IN there. My best guess is that I missed when I set it down, because it was rolling around for a while before I noticed. Then again, this really seems like something that only I could pull off, so…

Pointless story? Absolutely!
