Warm Winter Nights.

I love the nights like these when the air has enough bite in it to make my teeth chatter, but still enough warmth to where a light sweater and a good hug are all that is necessary to warm my heart.

Nights like these where I have spent the last few hours sitting between two of the people I hold dearest to my heart having a carefree and happy time with others who also mean so much to me.

Nights like these where the drive home with you was perfect; simple but still significant.

Nights like these where I can finally relax after the most stressful days of the semester.

Nights like these where I can envision the bliss that will come tomorrow as I sleep in, meet up with a close friend, shop, and work my first night since Monday.

Nights like these that hold a promise of what this winter break will be like this year: relaxing but exhilerating, modest but meaningful. The way a holiday should be.

Thanks again to all of you who have made the second half of this year so amazing, I look forward to spending time with each and every one of you over the next few weeks.

Almost done…

Winter is almost here! I can practically taste it (you know, since I have been packing in the pumpkin pie and what not)! My feet certainly feel it, they are ALWAYS freezing now.

This week was very stressful school wise. In just the past few days I have written about 22 pages on so many different subjects; I am burned out!

It’s nice though, I am generally pleased with how my writing has turned out, and it is nice to have accomplished so much since 1am on Tuesday morning. Oh, and I have officially finished applying to my transfer schools, so that is another load off of my back.

I am also happy to announce that I made it through my biology lab practicum without passing out! Here’s to being done with Science for the rest of my life! I really hope I never have to see another ‘specimen’ in my life.
