So am I the only one who makes plans to do a bunch of studying and writing on a Saturday and then ends up doing anything except homework?
Let me explain.
I have many pages of writing due within this next week between all of my classes, which naturally have been left until the last moment. Normally I would figure that it’s fine and would just dedicate the weekend to writing. Things are different though this weekend. Obviously, it is Thanksgiving weekend. This is the first time in a few months that my family and I have all been able to be together and it has been fun. We drove along the coast on Thanksgiving and had a grand time.
Additionally, a friend of mine has been staying with me for the past couple of days. While we have definitely found ways to entertain ourselves,
my room looks like a warzone,
and it is hard to make yourself do work when you have a friend that you want to be hanging out with.
Regardless, this morning was my chance. She was at work, so I had a good half day to finish at least one assignment. All I have written is two sentances. And now she is off of work and heading back over here and then in a few hours, I will be off to work.
Speaking of which, have I mentioned that I now have a HAT I have to wear at work? No, I don’t think i have.
I hate that I have to wear it, but as far as the hat goes… I kind of like it. I am a nerd.
