From Saturday morning at 5:30am until now (12:20am late monday/early tuesday) I have put in over 30 hours of work between Coldstone and It’s a Grind. My feet are killing me, but I need the money. I owe my dad the almost $1000 he gave me to fix my car, and my mom $400 for my tuition. And I owe myself a lot from the new york trip.

Anyway, I don’t know what to do. I obviously cannot keep working like this and need to do something, but I like both of the jobs and cannot decide which one to keep. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

On Saturday night, amidst all my working and (lack of) sleeping, Nate took me out to Lucille’s. It was a good time, and it was pretty relaxing to just spend some time together. We’ve spent very little time together since… before Christmas, so we’re trying to make that change. It was hard on us this weekend though, what with working, and then he had a huge project that was stressing him out and unfortunately all of this stuff caused some problems between us. Things are better as of now though, so that is good.

Tomorrow I’m eating bagels and muffins and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It’s kind of funny how I always end up with jobs that produce weight gain (sitting in front of a computer, making ice cream that is over 1000 calories a serving, or giving people coffee loaded with creams and syrups as well as baked goods loaded with icing and cream cheese). I love the things though, so it’s good none the less.

you’ve been working so hard that you deserve to eat sweets. i think that you should find another job that pays more money that way you won’t have to put so many hours in and you can spend more time with nate.

    love ya,
