Okay, so wooo I just voted! There was some crazyness at the poll place though. My name wasn’t on the roster so I had to fill out additional paperwork for a provisional ballot. I got to vote, so it’s all that matters. The other thing that happened was that the poll workers didn’t know that there were people from two different districts going to the same place, so some of the ballots had 3 choices for senator, and some had 2. Sooo most of us had to start over. My parents and I went kind of early, so not that many people would have had the opportunity to turn in the messed up ballots, but it sucks for those who did. That’s pretty dumb that Long Beach got divided into 3 different districts. Yep. In additon to my “i voted” sticker, I gave myself a stamp with the InkaVote thing, haha.

I hope none of you guys have any problems at the polls!

edit@9:54: So my dad called the newspaper and reported the messup with the ballots and districts, and now there are reporters calling me and asking me questions. It’s kind of exciting, but at the same time annoying since I was in the middle of a shower when a reporter called me back again. My only wish is that if my name is in the newspaper, they don’t switch the story up and make me seem like… a dumb 18 year old first time voter. If they pass me off as a smart one, however, I think I’ll manage to handle that.

I took on another job. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes. I’m not necessarily quitting coldstone’s, but I just do not know if I’ll be able to handle doing two jobs or if I’ll like one more than the other or what. So that means more money. What else means more money? I am once again thinking of selling my car. With busses coming by my house and able to take me straight to school and both jobs, there isn’t much need for my lovely EJ. My car needs a new clutch and… I don’t know. I still want it because I like to be able to go somewhere (out of LB) whenever I want. And if I gave in and bought a new clutch and a CD player, it’d be a decent car. But gasoline is too expensive, I can buy a bus pass for less money than gas, plus I’d be getting around $2,500 for my car. That’s $2,500 that can go toward university. And when I get out of community college and do go to university, I will most likely not be able to have a car. And… yeah. I don’t know. Any suggestions?

Anyway. I’m excited about the election tomorrow. I know I’m extra geeky, but I want to see who wins the popular vote. It’s such a tieeee the suspense is killing me! Honestly, I just want it to be over, so that hopefully I’ll stop hearing all of the things which have been bugging me about it. But I know who I’m voting for and how I’m voting on all the propositions and everything. Yeah. Don’t forget to vote! I seriously am excited to see the outcome of my first election.
