I went to San Luis Obispo yesterday and to Santa Barbara. I still don’t know what I want to do. Surprisingly, I suddenly really want to go to Westmont. Before I didn’t have any interest in it, but it’s so beautiful! Seriously. But yeah, still no clue where I’ll be in a year or even next semester. I might be at Cal State Domingez hills next semester, but that’s a whole other thing which I won’t get into here. Point is, I’m still just as frustrated with myself as I was before my little trip.
Today was interesting. I went with Julie to a Muslim place, a Buddhist place, and a Mormon place to set things up for our Anthro class. Talking to those people was interesting, but talking to Julie was also cool, just because she really is different than I had ever imagined.
Believe it or not, people, I’m actually starting to make friends. At school and work and stuff. Like this chick, Becca from work, we were talking and both of us had bad first impressions of each other and would not have expected to get along… I mean I seriously expected her to be ghetto and bad and stuff, but no, we have a lot in common and are starting to hang out together outside of work. She might be coming along on friday to try and scalp for a ticket? I’m not sure yet, but I think she’s going to try. But it’s pretty cool.
I haven’t gotten to really talk to or see Nate since thursday, but I get to see him tomorrow, so that will be cool, even if only for a few hours. Bad news is that I have to work tomorrow, but good news is that more hours=more money.
