I’m hurting so much right now. I can’t deal with getting hung up on, or being told that I can’t be dealt with right now. I wish things didn’t get complicated so easily, but when the one person you really want to talk to hangs up as you’re starting to cry, it just doesnt work.

I know this doesn’t make sense. I don’t want to be left alone right now, but he does. So whatever. I guess I’m going to try to sleep.

Take the test, by Emily.

oh, and I’m going to see them in two weeks.

The past week has been going pretty well. I don’t actually remember much… I know I had midterms and stuff going on last week, so that had been pretty busy.

On friday I was sort of bummed, but I got over it, because on saturday, Nate took me out after work. We watched I ♥ huckabees, and it was interesting. Go see it, I guess? I’ll admit I did not fully comprehend it, I went in expecting it to be a film made purely for entertainment, and it was a bit of a “thinker,” and I kept blanking out. Oh well, it was funny nonetheless!

When we were coming back, we were on a freeway and there was a bad accident and there was no movement of the cars. A few big trucks and suvs were going over the divider between the on ramp and the freeway and backing up down the offramp, so we were going to do this, but then some other cars made it difficult. We still went up the big ramp and over the divider though, so that was cool. Offroading for sure!

Sunday was work and work was bleh, I got burned on the waffle iron.

Today I saw the honors counselor at school and found out what I need to do for the next two semesters at lbcc. After that I am donnnnnne there and I can move on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo! Woo!

At lunch, Nate and I met to eat pizza and hot dogs, and afterwards we went to petsmart. I got another hamster! Just kidding. But Nate bought some doggie treats for Amir. And Amir appreciated them!

The rest of the day has been pretty laid back for the most part. I mean, I’ve been studying hard and doing some homework, but it has still been pretty easygoing, so that’s good.

Hope everybody else’s weeks are off to a good start!

boys can be dumb sometimes.

guess i’ll be hanging around home on the only night i would have been able to see Nate this weekend.

i can’t be too mad though, because i left him last week for the whole sb/dani/la/tbs thing, he probably thought i’d be busy again. but still, he’s always doing stuff with his cousins, grr.

on the upside, i guess i’ll get to be productive and take care of homework before sunday.

basically, i’ve brought up my grades in most of my classes.

i got the highest A on my last english essay which I was very proud of
i got a 95 on my last physical geography class (i had a low c before that test)
i got an A on my last political science test
piano is as easy as ever

the problem? Cultural Anthropology. it’s so interesting and not something which i end up taking good notes in, because i just like listening to the prof telling all of his tales, even though his opinionated-ness gets me annoyed every now and then. the course is too broad and there is no way to know where to even begin studying, because there is no way that i can figure out what questions are going to be on one side of a scantron that is supposed to cover everything i have learned up to that point. my midterm for that class is tomorrow, and i am beyond screwed. i should be studying, but i just can’t make myself do it! i seriously suck. my classes are difficult honors classes (except for piano) and i’m real proud of how i’m doing in the rest of my classes, but this one is killing me. i’m guessing i wont be going to piano tomorrow.

in other news, i like everybody else, am loving the rain. i’m sad because i know it isn’t going to stick around for long, but i’m enjoying it while it lasts. i made nate dance with me in the rain ♥ even though he was in like a tshirt and shorts or something. that was followed by going and getting pastry’s and sanwiches at the french bakery, and then we went to the top of signal hill and it was so great! i felt… crap, i forgot the word already, but dani would know it… oh, numinous. i felt numious again. it was a great moment aside from some akward stuff going on with some other people… anyway. yes, i am pro cold weather and pro rain. and pro november 1st, i cannot wait.

p.s. post at oooooh-heeeeeeeck-no!.

i’m off to try that studying thing again, maybe.

I’m going to be the next big tv star.

or not, but at any rate, I am going to be on a commercial!

I’ll start from the beginning, which would be thursday (which, by the way was made excellent by Nate dropping by with some food for me =) ), when Christina spent the night here. There was some crazy stuff happening with Haylie (my hamster) trying to kill the both of us, burning our fingers with a dirty brush, and falling asleep during Chicago.

The next day we woke up early, grabbed some venti starbucks coffee, and drove up to Santa Barbara, reason being to pick up Dani and come back to LA for a Taking Back Sunday concert. A lot of screaming, counting bumper stickers, making up a cool dance move, as well as getting lost a few times. We’d been hungry since the night before and were craving soup, so when we finally got to SB, we were on State St. trying to pick a restaurant with soup to eat at when these people came up and asked us to be in a hip hop commercial. At first we were like… “uhhh what? a commercial? do we have to dance? does it matter that we don’t look hip hop?” but they convinced us to go and we were in this music video commercial dealy encouraging people to vote. The catch? It was for Univision, a hispanic tv station so we had to say things in spanish and there was this hip hop group and we had to walk corny and… it was a hilarious experience. Anyway, we got free tshirts and hats and buttons, plus they’re going to mail us a copy of our commercial. It should be plenty amusing.

We eventually got to UCSB, saw the ofinater, grabbed some food, stole a sign, saw Anette/Anette’s dorm, got ready for the concert, and left.

Traffic was kind of bad in Santa Barbara and Camarillo and real bad in LA, but we eventually got to the Palladium.

The show was fine, but in all honesty I was most excited about just hanging out with Christina on the drive and getting to see Dani again (since we didn’t get to the last weekend I went up to Santa Barbara). By the time we shot the commercial and had seen Dani, my day had already been made, so even though I started out all in the pit and stuff, I eventually just stood back watching everybody, calling Nate, and thinking. I did manage to have about 5 crowd surfers kick me as well as one dropped on my head and giving me a terrible neck cramp that I still have, in case you were wondering.

All in all it was a great day full of many inside jokes which will be repeated for ages to come!

:does the pumpkin patch dance while remembering the out of control car incident outside Christina’s house, near where her relative was walking:

Hi.

If you’re like me, you are probably tired of hearing everybody and their mom telling you to register to vote and everything. I don’t think I have ever really considered myself to be into politics, but being that this is “the biggest election in the history of the United States,” yeah, it really is important. I mean… don’t just vote one way because you think a certain person is who you want, make sure you KNOW who you want! And don’t start talking about how much you think one of the canidates sucks until you have put in some time and really researched it.

oh, and watch the debate tonight!

I seriously know too many people who are “sooo anti-bush,” and if you ask them why it’s “because he’s dumb” or “because of the war.” Yeah, you’re gonna need more than that. Don’t vote any certain way because that’s what’s cool, becuase seriously, the next person I see who is for Kerry I might have to… do something to them. Everybody who I’m around is anti-bush and it is driving me crazy. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HATE BUSH, AT LEAST BE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW WHY! Watch the debates and read the platforms ( dem / rep ) !!! Not till you’ve done that and have decided what you believe and who you want, seriously, don’t start about what political party you are or who you’re going to vote for or who sucks.

Just watch the debates, please. Don’t vote based on one issue, think about everything presented.

Hey guys, I’m still on internet arrest, but I thought I should let all few of you who have/were planning to call or text me or something that my cell phone has taken on a life of it’s own, making it completely unusable since late thursday afternoon. My new one should come in the mail between Monday and Wednesday which is coincidentally the same time when I am un-arresting myself. Till then there’s still my inbox waiting for lots of love and my home phone for those of you happen to know it.

Till then, Esther

okay guys, here’s what I am thinking. I spend too much time in front of this computer, and I don’t even know where half of my time goes… if I spent less time in front of the computer, I think I would end up doing better in class because I would actually study, and yeah… since I do not know what I will be doing next semester, next fall, or in 2 falls academically, it’s probably pretty important for me to do well.

Here’s what I’m getting at:

From now until next Tuesday morning, I will not go online, and I will have my computer turned off at all times except for school work and checking email. If you need to contact me, there’s always the phone, 5627614646. Or email? seventyx7@gmail.com Or mail, but I’m not about to give that out online =)

I don’t know where I get the wierd ideas to do these things, but whatever, I just want to see how I end up using my time. And don’t think that the hours will be spent watching tv instead, because I am cutting back on that too.

Remember, I am by no means trying to cut off communication with anybody, but I’m bored with the internet.

I know you’re thinking “geez. It’s just a week, leave us alone, besides, you’ve been on trips and stuff before, wierdo,” but whatever.

I’ll see you all next week!
